It's unbelievable to think that there's only been 3 players prior to do it, and if Kucherov can get 1 assist vs the leafs next game, there will have been 2 new additions in a single season. That's honestly mindblowing.

Crazy that Gretz did it 11 times CONSECUTIVELY while simultaneously leading the NHL in goals 5 times during that same time frame.

4 times he led the NHL in points with just his assists alone and, if that’s not enough, 3 of those 4 times he simultaneously led the NHL in goals. Insane.

It’s so cool to see Connor McDavid reach 100 assists. It was just 10 years ago that Benn won the Art Ross with 87…points! Hockey has become a much better product in recent years!

What is the better achievement? 100 assists in only 75 games (McDavid); 70 goals in a season (Matthews, close); 40 goal, 100 assist double (Kucherov, close) or 50 goal, 140 point double (McKinnon, close).
