Hi Scott, I love that 47 Hound. I never get tired of looking at it 👍 I'm looking forward to more videos on Lenny.

Seeing what type of boxes those are with the printed text and tape, I can imagine the Chinesium smell from here.

I'm glad to see bus's getting fixed and running great but also glad to see great battery advice to how to keep them running plus house batteries too for Bus RV system. Buses make great RV's

Whoa, thank you so much for showing the specs. To see things like suggested low voltage cut off, the 10year warranty ( wow ), charging temperature allowing down to -20c ( :O ! ). Very interesting
To set the low voltage cut off as high as possible* and to avoid having these batteries sit at their maximum voltage will increase their lifespan significantly. Also safer to not sit at max voltage.

Are the Battle Born Batteries still under Warranty? If so I’d get a replacement for the bad one and use them for another purpose. Can’t wait to see the inside when all finished.

Hate to see that nice bus burn to the ground because of a faulty electronic component, very dangerous set up if not done right, the biggest place of concern is the components in the battery

Those batteries sound pricey compared to equivalent EG4 Lifepower rack batteries.

In the video you said you were going to charge the low battery. Any results, yet? I would certainly contact Battleborn. They have provided fabulous customer service with me

Are those batteries almost equivalent to the two 8D batteries. The bus originally ran on when in service?

Surprise Surprise Surprise if you open the box with the writing right side up the contents are not upside down

Lithium batteries are no good as a start battery, as a base load for general lighting, running fridges and the like and connected to a solar array work well. But as a battery to start a large petrol or diesel engine the start current will eventually kill the these type of batteries. This is the reason why starting batteries are generaly lead acid. They can supply a very high short term current for starting a engine, but as a basic supply for lighting etc, will go flat reasonable quick. Even AGM batteries suffer from the same problem, but would last a bit longer.
