Im currently using my a53 and im loving it, the recent updates it got made it so much better than when it first came out, so I wouldn't make the ugrade to the a54 unless it had a way better chipset like the snap dragon

Loved the A52 as it had the headphone jack and the plastic back. (And not that glass looking plastic either) I may go to the A55 if Samsung uses a Snapdragon processor in it but we'll see.

Coming from a Moto G Stylus 2021(4G varient) I say the A54 5G (Awesome Graphite) is a awesome upgrade for me. I've had it for 3 weeks now and I have no complaints. It has all I was looking for and more. Price was only $49.99 when I switched thanks Metro! TechDaily keep doing what you do, awesome videos!

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the performance of the Galaxy A54 5G and in some ways it even exceeded my expectations regarding buying a midrange phone. Definitely so much better than my older flagship phone. Although the screen is a little smaller due to the form factor being more rounded than it's predecessor A53 5G I don't see why A54 could be a bad option. And honestly if I am trying to save some bucks and I really don't mind the notch I would have gone with the bit larger A34 5G but that teardrop Infinity-U shape notch is just horrid and outdated and since there's no FE phone this year I decided to go with A54 5G. Cuz I'm so tired of buying flagship Galaxy phones where they keep on dropping features that are very significant with me such as the microSD card slot and adding features that I personally couldn't care less such as eSIM which in the Philippines is really inconvenient cuz unlike abroad where you can easily change carriers with an eSIM it wasn't really implemented that way here and so I see no real reason why I should use a flagship phone and an eSIM and I am not really bothered of the cameras since A series has a great camera too and it's not that awful that you would have to spend $1960-$2000 for an S23 Ultra here in my country. For A54 really can deliver great specs at a great value. And I personally would pick Samsung Exynos on my A54 5G as a processor rather than A34's MediaTek Dimensity. So yes so far I am a proud owner of a brand new Galaxy A54 5G and every experience is so worth it!

I have been using the A53 for the last 1.5 years and upgraded to the A54, both unlocked phones bought from Amazon. I LOVE my A53 its been hard getting used to the A54 due to extra weight and different screen sizes, the A53 is taller and skinnier while the A54 is shorter and wider (and yes you can definitely feel the difference). I have noticed browsing the web a little faster with the A54 over the A53 with 8gb ram on the A54 vs. 6gb ram on the A53. Between the heavier weight, shorter screen and camera downgrade on the A54 its a tough call. I like the way the A53 feels in the hand over the A54 but you be the judge, there's my 2 cents, spend how you like...

still happy with my a53, really i think these are incredible value. funny people spend several times this on iphone to get technically smaller battery, less ram, no hole punch camera, half the refresh rate, lightning port, ios😂
the a54 doesnt look like a big enough improvement for me to upgrade though. also hope they add wireless charging in the next one, then these arent really missing any features

The vjdeo i have been waiting for i did get the a53 last month i was a iphone user i had the se 2 but the battery was dying to frequently and the phone would freeze i needed a new phone so i saw the a53 ( i brought the a53 before the a54 was announced) and i brought it i loved the way it looked but it was very slow and the fingerprint took time i guess it was the chip i returned it for the a54 and i dont regret yes its another 50 bucks but it was worth it the a54 is faster and i love it

Been waiting for this comparison so thank you again TechDaily! I know people who still have A53's and they are satisfied with them still even today. I also like how the A54 this time around is a bit more wide. The A53's look is reminding me of the S20 FE. Aside from the wallpaper at least, just the build, its size/how wide it is.

I hope you will do a comparison between A73 and the A54, They have the exact Cortex cores setup and I personally would like to see how well the new chip will stand out infront of the Snapdragon chip

No. They made the bezels even bigger and removed one(albeit not very useful) camera.

Glass back too, awesome, now it will be easier to break.

for yall saying the video quality is still bad

they put a patch on may 2023 where it upgraded the video quality

4k30fps (on selfie, main and ultrawide) all now have eis (ois+eis on main)
