A pixel seven owner, but I got to say the Samsung phones are much better when it comes to customizing there’s so much more you can do to change the phone to your liking.

I went with the A54. Carrier didn't offer Pixel 7. That said, I am completely happy with the A54. I love the fact I can put a 1TB Micro SD card in it, and that it is 100% fully feature compatible with my Samsung Galaxy 4 Watch. Namely, ECG support. Another deciding factor... If you intend to go with a Phone/Smart Watch combo, you're better off with Samsung anyway. Why? Because all the health features are not locked behind a subscription! If you go Pixel watch, prepare to spend money on a subscription, as it's based on Fitbit. For this very reason, I will not buy a Fitbit or Pixel watch!

The issue with Pixel is availability in third world countries where the samsung dominates. As a long time samsung user it would be hard for me to switch to a pixel but I wouldn't mind it, but since Google HQ doesn't exist here, the closest option to getting a Pixel is Amazon, which with shipping and import fees has the pixel 200$ more than a54. So I got no choice but to go with the a54 as it's cheaper for me and I can find customer support easily without much trouble

I have both ... I am a super basic phone user so I ran these simple tests ...
- took a photo with front camera
- took a photo with the back camera
- played Sound of Silence by Disturbed.. on youtube app...

PHOTOS: whether it is right or wrong, for those photographers out there, I personally prefer the saturation ... less washed out, look of both front and back cameras on the A54...

SOUND: I've watched all the comparison videos I can find on these two phones, and I really don't understand how any of the reviewers think the sound quality is even close... the A54 is fuller while the Pixel 7 sounds like it is in a tin box (relatively)..

I've been a Samsung user for years, but I really wanted to the Pixel to win. Unfortunately, the only things I really like better about it are the clean Android UI, and the slightly smaller form factor. The battery lasts slightly longer on the A54 too... so I guess I'm stuck with Samsung for now. Really wish I could find one the size of my S10E with a better battery life... I actually prefer that over both of these otherwise.

I had a look at Pixel 7 and thought that the screen was not very smooth compared to 120hz phones, including A54 or A34.

The pixel 7 only has 128gb not expandable. This is unacceptable, 128gb are not much nowadays. I have ordered my Samsung a54 with an SD card of 256gb so 384gb in total, plenty enough for my usage. My previous phone was a redmi note 7 so the gap will be huge, can't wait to receive it !

Pixel has it on form factor & AI yet I truly appreciate oneUI with Samsung it's my favorite skin of all. Out of these 2 I'd have to go with Google only for the form factor. I chose A54 between 6a in another video goes to show it's not the company but the phone for me at least.

Camera on the pixel is MILES ahead of the Samsung + the whole software is just better. Only thing thats bothers me is the slow charging and no extra space for photos other than their free cloud.

Id probably go for the A54 for the better display. The aspect ratio on the Pixel is too narrow. The Pixels also seem to have more issues than other phones

Here in Serbia there is not pixel phones in stores, i feel like google needs to make their phones more available. so im thinking about buying A54.

I got my Samsung a54 for 360 shipped. I like the software better on the Samsung you also get an eye Comfort mode which makes it easy on the eyes for long YouTube sessions. The speakers on the Samsung are way better than the speakers on the pixel. You do get wireless charging on the pixel and stock android with all the updates, however the pixel has been late on updates for 4 straight months when all my Samsung phones get the updates within 3 days. 120 refresh is definitely Noticeable and the overall screen looks betterto me then the pixe. I like the pixel but it has boring software you can't even move the Google search bar. For the cash I spent on the Samsung I'm very happy with it and im sure the samaungwill be 350 in a month or 2 so just hold out if your like the samaung.

I feel like the slightly lower performance on the Samsung is justified by the better battery and screen (I personally would rather play a game for longer with just slightly worse graphics)

The price of the Google pixel 7 in Belgium is €569 while the price for the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is €449.
I would go to Samsung for a reasonable price.

I'm a pixel 7 pro owner and my advice to people would be to get the pixel 7 over the galaxy. Google does the best at showing how android should be used. I used to only buy Galaxys before jumping over to pixels. The software is so fire 🔥

I had the Pixel 7 and I hated it; the UI is terrible looking... why are there no deep blacks in it, both have OLED panels yet only the A54 (A53 too) UI will let you have that. Battery life is a lot better on the A54 as well. I liked my A53 way better than my pixel 7. Sure, the Pixel has wireless charging (don't use it as it's not good for the battery), better cameras (I have an S23 Ultra for that) and more processing power, but not noticeable in day-to-day use. Samsungs just have better screens and more enjoyable to use in my opinion. I didn't like the Pixel experience at all... I mean why can't I get rid of the search box on the home screen? I dislike the entire Pixel lineup.

Bought the a54 yesterday and returned it for the Pixel 7 and definitely the better phone! Team Pixel ❤
