New Star Wars Movie Announced, Director Revealed, Eclipse Update, Andor & More!

In today's Star Wars news update, we have new details for the future of Star Wars movies by Lucasfilm after Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy has been revealed to direct Damon Lindelof's movie. Apart from Taika Waititi's Star Wars movie and Kevin Feige, it looks like more spin-offs will happen. Right now, Lucasfilm have been focusing on Disney+ Star Wars content such as Andor, The Acolyte, the Mandalorian and other shows but Star Wars will return to the big screen following 2019's The Rise of Skywalker. We also have updates for Star Wars Eclipse by Quantic Dream and Andor.

It's hard to take seriously their claim that they don't want to rush anything considering they continue to rush to announce movies that have yet to begin production. Maybe if they would wait until a film was actually entering production to announce it this statement would be easier to believe, but right now it just appears to be "same story, different day".
