It would be so interesting to see an adult work lunches from around the world! I'm so keen to see what other people take for lunch!

Usually I don't share much private stuff on the internet, but I had the feeling to do this after seeing so many videos in the last time. I had many personal struggles in the last couple months - including hard episodes of depression. One of the things that helped me out a lot, also going back to cook myself a fresh meal and stop eating fast food for the quick dopamine was your channel, Beryl! Your warm, happy, cheerful personality in the videos and your love for different dishes, cultures and challenging yourself cooking also complicated foods were a motivation for me. I want to thank you from my deepest heart that you have started this channel and you give people something so precious - love and harmony no matter where you come from or who you are. <3

Omg!! A blast from the past!!! This put such a massive smile on my face. Almost four years later, I now live in London in the UK and have such a hard time getting adequate pickles that my beloved PB&P is often a "visiting family" kinda food. It makes me so happy to see people sharing their stories about the sandwich in the comments. Also so honored to be ranked with these incredible sammies 😭❤❤❤ Can't wait to tell my Grandma! (She's about to turn 90!)

16:00. Chilean here. Usually, green beans here sold before beans become that large, so they are flatter and don't need to be cut like that. We usually cut them diagonally in smaller pieces, but not separating the halves. We cook them until softer, not crunchy anymore. And, we add *way more mayo.* 😉

In boot camp, time to eat was always very short. And, at every meal, unless we were in the field, we got 2 slices of bread with butter.
So, it became a habit to butter the bread and throw whatever the main course was onto the bread and make a sandwich.
Spaghetti and meat sauce sandwich? You bet! Bacon Eggs and Grits on Toast? Of course. Some kind of grey glop with green beans on the side, all stuffed between 2 pieces of buttered bread? The faster the better! You can make a sandwich out of anything, as long as you have some kind of bread!

Great recipes! I really enjoy Leia joining a little bit in front of the camera recently. The two of you work very well together!

I really enjoyed the episode! My grandpa introduced me to peanut butter and mayo sandwiches. His favorite way was with tomato and lettuce while mine was with kosher pickles. We always got eeews when we ate them, but really the mayo is the chef's kiss.

Hahaha! Beryl seemed to think every single sandwich was the best! And it did seem so. She has such a good pace to her videos, you are constantly entertained.

I had to make the choka bread ASAP but didn’t have some of the ingredients. Only had rye bread (was delicious anyway) didn’t have amchoor so I subbed pani puri seasoning since it has the tangy dried mango seasoning (was great anyway😂) and subbed the Amul cheese with laughing cow cheddar. Never realized ghee gets the bread so much crispier but makes sense without the milk solids. I will make this again just as I did it because honestly it was incredible! Thanks again Beryl!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I would love to try the one with mashed potatoes. Carbs on carbs, are a winner in my books.

As a Brazilian, Shucos Gualtemaltecos look so similar to our "podrão" hot dog that I feel the urge to try it ASAP

On the debate of "Is a hot dog a sandwich?", some people say, "Yes, it's a sandwich!", where others are like, "No, absolutely not!"

My controversial opinion is, "I don't care; can I eat that hot dog?"

One of my favorite grilled cheese sandwiches was one I discovered at a restaurant that had soup and Sammie’s during the fall & winter. It had pepper jack cheese, a slice of tomato and a sprinkle of brown sugar. It’s also good using cheddar instead of pepper jack cheese. That hint of sweet from the brown sugar(and caramelized bits that oozed out into the pan and mixed with the butter in the pan to add a crunchy coating to the bread, yum), the acidity of the tomato, creaminess of the melted cheese and heat from the peppers. Perfection!

Thanks for giving the peanut butter and pickle sammie the love it deserves. I have never tried it with mayo but definitely will now ❤ this was a childhood staple of mine growing up in the Midwest and I always try to convert non believers!
