5 Things We Hate About the RZR Turbo S - Dynamix & Velocity Side by Side UTV

When shopping the Turbo S against the Canam Maverick X3, and even the new Pro XP, Turbo R, and Pro R .. there are a few things you should know.

Even though we pick on Polaris a bit here, we are in love with the Turbo S. Between the 2 of us, we’ve owned 4 Turbo S’s and 6 total RZR Turbo. Hard to beat the wheelbase/width and the overall toughness of this machine.

One great thing to see is that most of our gripes have been addressed in the new RZR models - seats are better, cage is better (pro R), gearing is lower (turbo R and pro R), interior layout is a little more “finished”. We are excited the way the industry is going, and are very excited to get into one of the new models - but not quite ready to give up the Turbo S! We think this model will be popular for a long time to come!

Thanks for watching!

All great points and suggestions, I love my Turbo S and definitely need to look into aftermarket cage options, great video fellas.

Good points. The skid, cage, and seat bases are the priorities for my upcoming build. Safety first!

Thanks for posting this. I’m new to the game and always look for ways to improve on OEM. Just ordered the skid plate for my 21 Turbo S 4 Dynamix on your reco. Merry Christmas 🎄

I have the 21 Pro XP 4 LE now, some of these issues have been addressed with this new platform one way or the other. After 1700 miles, no issues. I have the new Turbo R 4 Ultimate on order, should arrive this spring. The whole suspension has been redesigned and is much beefier, the gearing has a new lower low, new unified bearings, better brakes, larger radiator, stronger hub assembly, etc. It should be interesting. Looking forward to it. I like these new stock cages on my Pro XP, no plans of changing it now or on my new Turbo R. Sand Hollow, Kanab, and Moab are my favorite destinations! No place like Utah when it comes to off road adventure.

Beautiful machines you guys got. The only thing that steered me away from the polaris was the twin cylinder engine to the triple rotax on the can am and the cage on the polaris, but I like them all. I'm buying a 2022 xrc 72" just to leave it alone. The mods you guys have done to the cage, windshield, doors, tires/wheels and suspension looks amazing. Just moved to st george and sand hallow will be my new play ground whenever the heck my machine comes in lol so ill see you guys out there. Merry xmas/new year.

This was actually really helpful as I'll be in the market for a new machine here in the coming months and there are still a few 2021 Turbo S variants (more Dynamix than Velocities though) at the dealers up here in SLC (and surrounding), believe it or not. Although they are dwindling by the week. I really prefer the look of the Turbo S over the XP Pros but I'm still debating on whether to hold out for a Turbo R since, from what I can tell, the suspension upgrades hopefully alleviate the need for after market parts. Anyway, thanks for the tips!

I have only had ours for about 2 weeks, only have 29 miles on it at the moment. My biggest gripe comes from getting our machine. Polaris, if you have a certain part delaying a machine, tell me what it is, that will make me feel much better than a "We don't know what's holding it up or when to expect it." I would rather have them be straight up with me.
On an important side not, Merry Christmas to y'all!

If I was running 35 for a crawler, or pounding sand, a turbo Polaris would probably be my choice. As far as naturally aspirated, I will take my my honda talon all day.

This is my #1 barrier to entry to UTV ownership: the fact that you need to upgrade from stock for safety and reliability. The base car is expensive enough without needing to replace half of it right out of the gate.

Great video guys, how much top speed is lost with the gear reduction in high? Would it be beneficial doing the reduction running with 32-33” tires?

I was looking for the new 2022 ProR here in Canada, the thing is 51 000 $ + 15% sale taxes.. no more Polaris.
