Attended a screening yesterday and was blown away. I knew bits of the stories and this put their legacy and contribution to the planet altogether. The photography of Patagonia is spectacular. Kris Tompkins was there for a Q&A afterwards. Her commitment and passion is an inspiration.

I just came from a special screening of this film at the Patagonia store (and world headquarters of the Patagonia clothing company) in Ventura, California. Very impressed by the film and the accomplishments of the Tompkins. Kudos to Jimmy and Chai on yet another exemplary production! This film is sure to be nominated for an Academy Award for best documentary!!!

One question that I had, which the film did not address, is this: what happened to any residents living within the newly established park boundaries? Were they forced to relocate? And if so, where did they go?

I wish that this had been covered.

Anyone out there with any information about this, please feel free to respond.

Thanks to the Patagonia company for hosting the free screening of "Wild Life" at your store as a gift to the citizens of Ventura! 🌎 💙

Acabo de ver este documental y me conmovió hasta las lágrimas. Una historia de amor, de lucha, de conquista y de preservación del planeta. Ojalá hubieran otros Lolos y Birdies en mí país Argentina

Thank you for this film and for everyone who is willing to help the world survive and thrive. My wife and I were in awe of everything you did. We also experienced every emotion from joy, to awe, to laughter, to tear throughout it. It was everything.

I'm deeply saddened that, as of May 12th 2023, it has only made $286, 000. This movie needs to be seen by everyone around the world.

Does anyone know how to get a list of the soundtrack? I thought it was magnificent.

Had it not for Doug Tomkins and his vision, nothing would have transpired. We should be grateful to his wife for keeping this vision alive. Jimmy Chin continues to be a world class filmmaker and his wife brings the human touch to his stories. Yvon, and Doug were the original dirtbag climbers. We all owe the a huge debt of gratitude for seeing the diminished natural world.
