They dug up a whole row of coffins. Probably put a gas line in or electrical line. Or maybe they were looking for a missing coffin. My great great grandmother is buried in a cemetery and the people who run the cemetery don't know where she is buried. There was only a wooden cross. I have pictures of it from 1919. I guess I can take the pictures with me and try to geolocate where she is buried by the landmarks and other monuments in the photo. There are numerous reasons why these coffins were all dug up. Maybe a court ordered it to look for someone or do forensic testing.
