I'm not a beekeeper, but I garden, and have always seemed to have a good relationship with the visiting bees and paperwasps. It took a while, but I convinced my neighbor to not knock down all the paperwasp nests near his garden when one day I showed him a large wasp chowing down on a tomato worm on his plants. Growing up I was never told to not swat at a bee, but I guess I learned by example. First time I saw someone swat at a nearby bee I thought they were crazy. Once I watched my husband swat at a wasp, and that wasp promptly marked him with that special scent, and he ended up getting multiple stings. It was the only time in 15 years at that house anyone had been stung, and we had multiple nests around the property. All that is to say I really enjoy the hum of the "girls" in your videos just like I enjoy them in my garden, and thank you for sharing them with us.

I am so glad it's a 😁smiles😁 day for you and your mom, love them little honey wonders. 🤠The sting is looking much better, that was quick. I will take your advice do my best to NOT get stung in the face, it doesn't look fun. Those cardboard boxes hold up to weather better then I would think, but those girls are sure gona love that more space of their new home. Just an observation it looks like your gloves might be a size to big? Ty for sharing your families time, Blessed Days...

hello, we like and follow your works. bees are very good. I had it three years ago. We got sick during the pandemic period and we couldn't go to look at them. The scavenger bees killed them all. There were 20 hive bees. If only we could get bees even if you were close. Greetings from Turkey.

I will spend the extra money to buy Jester EZ nuc boxes. Corrugated plastic will last for years. I use them when picking up a five nuc or catching a swarm.

Always makes you wonder why they might supersede when she's making such beautiful brood patterns. But, the girls know best. You certainly picked the right time to upgrade them to a bigger box. They have a ton of brood and will need that space.
