I am all about affordability and accessibility of skincare products. We don't have to break the bank especially for cleansers and moisturizers (okay sometimes I will splurge on a few great moisturizers). Here are my fav picks at the drugstore!

I’m 51 with dry skin and I use most of the products that he’s recommended. My top picks are CeraVe cream to foam cleanser. Absolutely fantastic product. CeraVe ultra light moisturizer with spf 35. It’s moisturizing, lightweight and miraculously doesn’t affect my rosacea. For night, the OG Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Cream and I pair it with the oil that goes with it. I do have a few other products that I add into my routine but good skin care doesn’t have to break the bank. The key is consistency.

Love from Canada. You are so happy. Thanks for caring about us who are on a budget. Not many doctors are like that. I really have learned so many tricks from you.

Thank you doctor. Need a video for over 60- not necessarily drugstore products. It would be okay to mention a more pricey products if they work better. Much appreciated.

Dr, I’m so very thankful for your affordable recommendations! It’s easy to get caught up in the hype and “it must be high-end or ‘medical grade’” attitude. You’re the best!

I add Vaseline to my feet before going for a walk. Works wonders!

Thank you Dr Sugai for these wallet-friendly options! I am older but still have fairly oily skin. I recently tried Cerave SA cleanser and my skin is SO much better for it! Cerave PM lotion and Hydrating Hyaluronic Serum along with Neutrogena Clear Face sunscreen over their Daily Moisturizer for Reactive Skin round out my normal daily routine. And I alternate between Tretinion and Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair at night.
After over thirty years of using (and loving the results of) Estee Lauder, they have just priced their products out of my budget. When ONE of their serums cost more than my ENTIRE budget routine (including an RX retinol) I just couldn't justify the purchase any longer, so thank you for you recommendations!

Versed and e.l.f. also are affordable drugstore brands. Vaseline is also good for protecting areas that you might want to keep retinoids from (corners of eyes and nose, lips).

Thank you for using affordable drugstore products. I'm 68 and have combination sensitive skin. (Before menopause it was oily.) I've found drugstore products especially CeraVe very helpful in improving my skin.

I have been using Vanicream facial cleanser and Neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair for years. I have oily, sensitive, rosacea prone skin. These products do not irritate my mature skin. 😊

Love all of your product recommendations. Thanks for putting me on cerave cream to foam cleanser, love it. I use it in the am and the La roche posey purifying cleanser at night. What a good drugstore eye cream l/serum for dark/puffy undereye?

Just got the Bliss Block Star spf 30 💯 mineral tint sunscreen at Marshall’s for $ 7. It expires in 2025, cost $ 24 at Ulta and I really like it. 👍🏻

At 46 yrs old and soon to be 47, the more simple I get with my skincare as long as they have good ingredients. 😎

Thank you Dr. Sugai for sharing this video :) My skin seems to be getting more sensitive 😏 I use fragrance free skin care - Neutrogena and Vanicream. The Ultra Gentle cleanser from Neutrogena has been my favorite for over 5 years 🥰 I also use the Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion, and SPF 30 sunscreen - the texture is lightweight and applies very nicely on the skin without any white cast. Take care everyone 🌹

Will you do a video about affordable moisturizers in particular? I’m looking for affordable moisturizers that don’t have spf because I prefer a separate sunscreen that is 50!
