Im just getting into the hobby. Bought a hypergo for my son and then saw how cool his was and bought myself a brushless version. Its has been EXTREMELY tough. I have beaten it and crashed it and jumped it and its taken it all. Only little things here and there have broken (mostly cosmetic). I did notice the differential seemed like it was starting to have issues and email their customer service and they sent me a upgraded replacement and some additional upgraded parts free of charge. I would definitely recommend buying one as a beginners car and also highly recommend upgrading to 3S battery. I keep the controller on the 70% mode and the battery lasts a long time, then if I want to do some speed runs or send it to the moon.... 100% power

In FPV Drones I have an OSD which tells me the LiPo capacity... but in this case?

Do you run the stock 8s traxxas cush drive on the modded XRT/XMaxx's? What about gearing? Keep it Mod1 or convert it to Mod1.5 if i need both gears anyway?
Stock center Diff still? What kind of oil wt's for xmaxx diffs and shocks?

How well would either of these handle 3s? does anyone know, how easy would it be to remove and replace the diffs and how long would they last

That tire testing rig is such a good idea. As I said on a previous video, if you can't keep the tires on the wheels in the shop you might as well stay home and not waste time at the track!

Good day Kev. Why don't just mold your own wheels from silicon? You get loads of different types with different tearing strengths. If you design your own wheel and print it out along with a mold you can easily make your own wheel to your own spesifications or is this not allowed in the speed runs?

I got the Hyper Go 16208 and broke the U shaped clip that locks the body onto the chassis straight away on bumpy grass and a few cartwheels. Then I broke the front tongue on the body that slots into the front shock tower. Has anyone worked out how to make these things stronger? Anyone have any idea how to make an internal roll cage for it? Also broke the fan after doing huge airs at the skate park.

I remember when the original .15 trx 4tec and tmaxx came out, and they were the biggest thing out there for hobby play (not competition obviously). Sometimes there is just a product that becomes amazingly successful.

Just ordered the hyper go as my first rc car, as a fpv drone guy living in the uk it collects dust more than flys so I need some kind of winter rc hobby so I think by the look of it this one shall get me through the cold wind and rain lol
