sqrt(x+3)=x+1
Substitute x=-2 into the equation
left side: sqrt(-2+3)=sqrt(1)=+/-(1)
right side: x+1=-2+1=-1
Hence, x=-2 is another answer!

sqrt of 1 is +1 or -1 . therefore -2 and 1 are both solutions. its +/- sqrt(X+3)

I honestly don't understand because square root of 1 is POSTIVE or NEGATIVE 1 because -1 x -1 = 1
