Invisible Cuts Can Save Your Edits (Simple Trick)

Today's video is about using a morph cut for narrative editing.
Unlike other transitions, morph cut in a movie is supposed to be invisible. When footage allows for it and it's executed correctly, then you can save takes that would otherwise end up on the cutting room floor.

I died when you told me you had three morph cuts in the short, and I never found them. The mystery is solved. Thank you.

Excellent combo of editing skillsets here! (Micro level software, macro level composition ideas.) As Gollum would say: Precious, precious, precious! Thanks for your work!

This video was very good because it was also very short, so our time is not wasted and I managed to learn a new thing very quick. I'll try to play around with morph cut from now on.

Great! video question how would you suggest ending a clip and begin a clip so its easier to edit and it looks more seamless?

Great,
Do you know if we can do the same on Da Vinci Resolve?

Premiere Pro crashes when I try to render a clip with morph cut. Nightmare. Am I the only one?

mine is giving me unnatural transitions, although my talking head is still and frames are relatively aligned with one another.

I still have a long way to go. Just finished my first roto and tracking video and overall I am fine with it, but I couldn't get the morph cuts to work correctly. I think mine had a bit too much movement.

I can’t use morph cut with any lag why is that I use one morph cut instantly lag but when I use more the lag is crazy that the video and sound are so far apart by like 1 min
