Why do so many people and psychologists confuse the genetic disorder agoraphobia with a psychological anxiety disorder. Just because a person can’t leave the house or car, it doesn’t immediately transform to agoraphobia. Agoraphobia is misapply named. It is not a phobia. It is a genetic disorder And only the Claire weekes method can control it. This woman obviously has a psychological anxiety disorder from a traumatised childhood. She needs an accurate diagnosis. And the word agoraphobia came from the Ancient Greek language by people seeing a person having a panic attack in open places. The Ancient Greeks had no real knowledge of genetic or psychological disorders as we know today. The word agoria means market or shop. The word “fovia “ means fear. That is the exact Greek translation. And now everyone uses the word phobia wrongly even for some genetic disorders
