How to Describe a Day Off in English!

In this English lesson I'll talk about some common words and phrases we use to talk about a day off.

Maybe you need to ask for a day off. Maybe you've been given a day off. Maybe you have a day off coming up and you want to be able to ask your co-workers if they have anything special planned.

In this English lesson you'll learn how to have great English conversations about days off. Enjoy!

About myself:)
When i was a kid, i usually thought that i could beg my parents, i wish i could take "a day off" from school, even if i wasn't sick. But now, i understand the importannce of studying at school, so i don't have in mind those thought anymore.💡
We "had a 14-day off" in February due to Lunar New Year( our National celebration).
We celebrated the New Year'Eve, ate local cakes, reunited with family members and enjoyed activities like: playing card, cooking special food, meet other people...during those days. There was also huge barrage of fireworks🎆🎆🎆 that shot into the sky over my city for over 30 minutes! It was a big blast!
I wish you and your family could experience all of those!😁🎆
