I absolutely hate people that believe all they need to do is apologize for something they purposefully did and think everything is ok. What a Scumbag, he knew he was leaving and still went after the reporter.

This why i will never fault players for using the transfer portal. Coaches have been abandoning programs for decades

All he had to say was “no comment.” He did not need to lay into the reporter like that.

I lost respect for him. It's one thing to flat out lie but to make someone feel bad about asking the question. It's big of him to publicly apologize but still.... it's barely a quick apology.

Everyone who says that NIL is ruining college sports can thank every major sport coach who swore he/she bleeds their current college's colors but takes another job for more money in 24 hours. 😂

You flat-out lied to that reporter and shamed him to boot. Good on you to apologize but your word is, basically, sh*t right now.

“All I was thinking about in that moment was the players, I wasn’t thinking about myself or the future” this guy was recruiting players to Texas while coaching their biggest rival in the College World Series.

True narcissists cannot bring themselves to apologize without qualification.

How about apologize to the fans for flat out lying about your plans to stay at A&M

Jim Schlossnagle is truly a man of his word 😂😂 literally less than 24 hours later and he's apparently changed his mind

Glad to hear the apology because the reporter deserved it based on the response and because I heard Schloss cornered the guy after the press conference and gave him even more of an earful. BTW Schloss....your response was 1, 000% about you and you alone.

Of course he was upset at the reporter - he nearly ruined the surprise

Safe to say he is no longer welcome at Texas A&M anymore.

He should be apologizing to his former team and to the Texas A&M Fans 🤣

Yet people say athletes shouldn’t be able to control their destiny and decisions.

It's money and it's always about money. People leave their family all the time so they can go out and make a living wage but even the reporter is out there trying to make money

He cares so much about the players that he left. 😐Heart of gold.

No one should ever trust a word this man says

Your apology is worth about as much as your word, absolutely nothing
