Idk why anybody would say Mike Awesome didn't wrestle as a big guy.
He literally got screwed over by WCW cause he wrestles big style but wasn't as big as those guys.

I've used Mike Awesome as an example for my own struggles of developing a wrestling style. At a hair on 6ft4, I'm tall for Indies, but not for Vince.
The answer is to be adaptable to my situation. Learn off of as many people as possible and use what I need to in the moments they're needed.

Mike Awesome was the man. I like so many other people didn't get exposed to ECW outside of magazines until the TNN thing so Mike Awesome is who I think of when I think ECW champion. It seemed like he defended it on a weekly basis

I really don't blame Mike Awesome for walking out of ECW and going with the belt to WCW. You know he was getting stiffed on money owed to him too and he was guaranteed big money at WCW and Turner had the funds to pay him on time.

I will never understand why Vince McMahon didn't pair Mike Awesome with Sean O'haire during or after the Invasion angle. They could have been called "The Bomb Squad" and their finisher could have been Mike's Awesome Bomb followed by Sean's Swanton Bomb.

It's truly sad how Mike Awesome never became WCW United States Heavyweight Champion back in the year 2000. Even if it would have been a brief & short-lived title reign.
