It's a damn shame that Bruce Lee passed away so young, at only age 32. Had Bruce lived on, I'm sure that Chuck and Bruce would have made many more motion picture classics together, not just in the fight genre, but in other types of movies as well.

Chuck lives about 15 minutes from me in a little town called Navasota, TX. About 15 years ago a friend of a friend had kids that played tee ball with Chuck's kids. He said Chuck volunteered to coach even though he knew nothing about baseball. He ended up being the bat boy for the team which lead to lots of "our bat boy can kick your coach's ass" jokes. The team party ended up at his ranch which the kids (and dads) loved. Everyone I've ever known that knows him says he's a really good guy.

That fight scene is so classic. It certainly amazed the world that time. Still enjoyable to watch now.

If you are respected by Bruce Lee for your fighting abilities and proficiency at martial arts, as such that's an accomplishment in itself but then he rings you up and asks you to come to his place to do a movie with him, that defies comprehension. Few have ever accomplished that.
Another martial arts actor who Bruce loved was Bolo Yeung.

Dad why is there so many chuck norris jokes but no bruce lee jokes? Because son, Bruce Lee, was no joke.

No Bruce wasn't a in the ring point fighter with rules. He trained himself to be a street fighter with no rules or weight limit..big difference. There are videos of masters on yt that say they fought Bruce and didn't stand a chance. They were much bigger / heavier also.

Walker Texas Ranger one of my fave shows. I watch the reruns all the time. Very clean family friendly and killer fight scenes.

You wanna talk about being humble???

BRUCE LEE was humble!
Notice when Conan tells Chuck that he's quite a big star in Russia, Chuck says yup, but Bruce said himself that he doesn't consider himself a superstar, he even said that the word star turns him off. 💯

If anyone has any doubts just watch former karate champ, Jim Kelly's interview.
Says Bruce spared with the best (insert Chuck Norris) and he was unbelievable and untouchable. If anyone should know it's the late Jim Kelly.

he never seems to fail to remind everyone "I was world champion at the time" but he always leaves out that it was point fighting.

The only time Chuck Norris was ever wrong was when he thought he had made a mistake.

Chuck was and is the real deal. In his prime, he was thick-set, tough and hit hard and fast - make no mistake!
