I'm guessing they aren't 1st or 2nd cousins. They are probably distantly related (would have been nice if they explained exactly) so it's most likely not a big deal.

I accidentally clapped my cousin's cheeks. She was white, I was black. Same last name but didn't think anything of it until I found out my great uncle dated white women and her aunts used to get around too.

Awkward but fun and familiar.

I wonder how closely related? Are they distant cousins or are they 1st cousins? Cause if they are close cousins, then how did they not find out sooner? 😂
