I knew Proof personally. He was a homey of mine, and we recorded music together. He also introduced me to Eminem and the rest of D12 over in Ferndale where they record. Shout out to Momma Pepper (Proof's mom) and everyone who suffered this loss. Im not kidding when I tell you he was an incredible soul, and will always be missed.

It's hard getting over the death of someone you loved, especially when it happens suddenly with zero warning. I'm not talking out my ass, my father committed suicide at age 16 and my mother died suddenly from an arotic disecting aneurysm last year, didn't even get a chance to apologize to her for our disagreements or hug her again while still alive, instead drive 3 hours to hug her cold body.

I find this whole Proof shooting someone over a game of pool story very unbelievable. Everyone who knew him said he was a good person. Either something else happened that night or it was his extreme state of intoxication that made him violent.

I remember hearing this news. I was actually working on a demo for Iron Fist, at the time. Being from Detroit and knowing his impact on the local scene we were all hurt significantly by his loss. R.I.P. Proof!!!
