The Detroit native recounts the surreal feeling of watching his childhood friend blow up and being an integral part of it. He also talks about the promise that the members of D12 made to one another when they were all independent artists, which stipulated that whoever got signed first would come back for the others to ensure they achieved notoriety as well. “Devil’s Night“ is an underrated classic. So many great songs on that album: Fight Music, Revelation, American Psycho, Devil’s Night, Girls, Instigator etc… D12 was the shit.

Say what you want about Shady but he faced his demons, came back stronger and when he got put on he kept it real and brought his people with him. To some people that's just part of who you are and it's not EVER about one man carrying the crew on his back. They helped lift him up, without that support from them may be we never would have heard his name.

D12 were not signed to Shady/Aftermath. They were strictly Shady - distributed through Interscope.
