This channel deserves a LOT more subscribers! Your clear explanation without the typical loud and obnoxious background music is very much appreciated. Keep doing what you do and this channel will grow immensely. BTW this engine has a lot of "bad boys" and "puppies"!

Amazing video, very well put together! And of course, awesome build!! I took my 2ZJ apart two years ago to do a head gasket. I didn't go for any performance upgrades since the engine sits in my GS300 which is for now the family vehicle. I did however take everything off of it to reseal and clean it off from the oil leaks it had. One mistake I made was that I put the upper oil pan on before the oil pump went on... I guess I wasn't paying attention or something lol. Learned my lesson. It was definitely an amazing learning experience and I found that those engines are easier to work on than I thought!

That is a beautiful instructional build on reassembly of the 2JZ. Only thing is you're gonna regret using that stock crank pulley instead of a fluid damper or ATI pulley.

This great content. I know the information is out there, but I do wish you narrated all the torque specs and maybe bolt sequence for the crank.

You should do a video breaking down when and where to get all the parts and which parts youll need like a planning phase. I have a GE short block and are looking for a GTE head to put on it.

You did a great job and you also did a great jod explaining everything!!!! If it’s not too much trouble could you please share your part’s list with me cause I’m thinking that your way is looking like what I’ve been thinking of doing with my build? If it’s not to much trouble, I’d appreciate the help and feedback!!!
