Watching the rtx 2080 ti consume around 250 W while the RTX 3090 ti and RTX 4090 seep 420 W scares me where we'll end up when the 4090 ti ends up being released

Glad i got a 3090TI on its way out the door, the extra performance of a 4090 is nice but not worth the 2600 euro price tagg.
Wich is 1100 euros more then i payed for my 3090TI.

Ill wait for 5000 series cards, make the insane price tags they are throwing on cards now atleast worth the bump in performance.

I’ve used the 2080ti since it came out but wow seeing the 4090 triple the fps in some game is mind blowing. I’m still having fun with my 2080ti so I’ll probs upgrade when the 5000 series come out. Probably even the 5000s won’t be able to run the next gta 4K 60fps rtx😂

Well if you are an extreme gamer and have the bank, and want to game at 4k on the highest settings, that somewhat justifies the price, its hefty, but the performance gain is very visible.

With FSR set to performance I am running 4K ultra avg fps 70 ish on a 6700xt. I do not notice any weird effects and performance is very consistent. So much value with this card at ~400 dollars.

Me thinking to upgrade as I have RTX 2070 Super, I might wait another year I guess.. once we hit 120+ fps in 4K gaming then I’ll invest in these overpriced cards

The problem for me is: I own a 2080Ti and still don't have the need to upgrade since I only play in 1440p (Monitor).
I don't game on a TV on a couch, therefore I'll upgrade with the RTX 50 Series probably.
