Earth wasn't the reason nor the main target. Humans are pretty primitive in the universal scale

the issue is, is that people are only considering us humans as halved not the universe. Even if we regrow in 30-40 years doesn’t mean the billons or trillions of others planets would

Fun fact: in the comics he killed half of all life to impress the deity of death, who groomed him to be a sociopath from childhood (she manifested her body into a child after learning Thanos was a unique Titan child with Deviant genes. They grew up together, he had a thing for her, she denied his affections and he killed half of all life after the Infinity War to impress her. Still wasn't enough!).

In summary...the movies are about the intention of long-term survival while the comics were about banging a skeleton (her real form is skeletal).

I think the misconception comes from all the people that kept trying to say thanos “had a point”. He’s the mad titan, he did everything he did only because his home planet didn’t listen to his halve the population plan, so he did it on a universal scale to satisfy his own ego. That’s all.

But Thanos’s plan of 50% of all life included plants and animals and insects which are classed as resources so his whole reason of saving the universe doesn’t make sense.

Thanos after realizing that the earth can just reproduce and get more people, ”Well crap, looks like I’ll have to do it again.”

He was called the "Mad" Titan, not the "Logical and Sane" Titan lol.

Bro showed Shang Chi when he mentioned Hong Kong and T’Chala when he mentioned Africa.😂 I don’t know why that’s funny, it makes sense, but it’s pretty funny for some reason😂

i just hope you realize he did this on a UNIVERSAL not global scale. It wasn't just about Earth. Infact, Earth was the least of his worries.

Thanos is a nihilistic psychopath who just used the population issue as an excuse to justify his actions. This is why Thanos doesn’t consider using the infinity stones in any other way to deal with the problem.

Well Thanos realised his plan wasn't gonna work in Endgame, he said that he thought by eliminating 1 half the other would thrive but after the avengers he knew that would never happen so he changed his plan to kill off everyone and create new life (and we saw how that turned out)

Thanos plan didn't make sense, since he also halved the food supply :p Half the cows...dead!

That’s because he wasn’t aiming for earth, but the universe. He was trying to cut the universe in half by total population.

Here's how I would've changed this.
1). Introduce the X-Men into the MCU sometime before Iron Man.
2). Add Spider-Man after the first Avengers movie, but make him more Independent. Still have Tom Holland play.
3). In the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, Star-Lord and Rocket kill Thanos, leading them to remove the infinity stones, and causing something to happen to Jean Grey.
4). For Infinity War, have a plot similar to that of the Lego Marvel superheroes 2 game, but add the X-Men and the Fantastic Four.
5). For Endgame, Galactus should be the main villain

Darth_Vader.

Also, with Infinity stones he could simply multiple resources of the Universe. Plan was really stupid to be honest.

Wow. So smart. It’s almost as if that flaw didn’t get noticed by 95% of the audience.

He was snapping away half the population of the universe, not just the Earth.
