I legit snatched a used gaming desk worth 200 dollars for 40 dollars and it has amazing quality and is super clean and ikea products in my country is more expensive, it honestly depends what you're getting and where you live.

Asked mom if she knows someone who works with wood. Furniture etc. She said she knows a guy who does kitchens so i asked for a 2.8m long WOOD desk(not some fake stuff) Got exactly the measurements i wanted he even cut holes for radiator and inserted a metal cover for the heat to go thru. Cost me around the price of 180cm Ikea fake wood desk.
Got a photo from him once where he showed me a warehose full of counters and asked if i would take some from the back he didnt plan on using anymore.
Paired it with 3 heavy duty shelf brackets and now i got a perfect Floating Desk.
Even if she didnt know anyone i was planning to hit up few places and ask around. No way i was bying a fake wood from IKEA for those prices as everyone recomended.

I got a gaming desk from wayfair for $130 and it has headphone holders, cup holders, and a full desk size mousepad. Unfortunately it is a 2 piece top construction although there are about 4 brackets to hold both pieces together nice and tight. With the mousepad you can’t tell the difference between the 2 surfaces it’s all 100% flush and even it’s amazing. No bending like the ikea tops

A flexispot height adjustable desks are cheaper then ikea desks and are better then the IKEA ones (only some flexispot desks are cheaper then ikea ones but it can also get more expensive)

I have a really nice gaming desk. It’s made entirely out of carbon fiber it looks nice it has cup holder headphones racks and it comes with a cable management rack too
