Synthetic Plastics Corporation was the mother company responsible for a host of budget record labels one commonly finds digging through the bargain bins and thrift store crates. These included Diplomat, Parade, Peter Pan, etc. However, sometimes Synthetic Plastics Corp went so cheap that they issued releases on nondescript releases like this one where SPC is only mentioned incidentally on the jacket but nowhere on the record label. The distinctive circular impression on the record labels and the font in the titles for the album and tracks are labeled give it away as an SPC release without needing to use any words.

The most common SPC releases were these Top Hit Tunes LP releases. SPC on their non-children's records appear to have been solely issued on 12" LPs. A potential exception would be the Parade Records line, where 45 rpm EPs were issued in the 1950s. There is the possibility that 78 rpm editions for some select releases were issued, but if they were, they would be for Children's and Pop Cover releases.
