The sudden death of former Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, 68, has taken the nation by surprise. He suffered a heart attack on Thursday and passed away in Shanghai just after midnight local time. In his decade as premier, Mr Li steered the world's second-largest economy through multiple headwinds, including a trade war with the US, growing government debt and unemployment, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, as well as the COVID-19 pandemic. Premier Li Keqiang had earned a PhD in Economics and had developed his own "Economic Indicators". I saw him roll up his sleeves and sit at a table with representatives from China's other 8 Parties. (The ones not allowed to hold power!).

In his "Farewell Address", Premier Li Keqiang said: "The eyes of Heaven see everything."

If, as I suspect, his death was NOT a Natural one, then the "eyes of Heaven saw that too"!
