Co worker at my previous job was 5” 4” and he’s married now but I remember back when we worked together he brought up the height issue because another co worker of ours was 6ft and he got a lot of attention from women, so my 5ft 4 co worker asked “why all the women love tall guys so much?” To which I replied to him “ maybe they never had a man in their life to look up too” to which all three of us laughed for the rest of the day.

as a 5’8 girl- there is NO reason to need to be *that* picky with preferences. with all of the bad characters out there and moral depravity, why put unnecessary restrictions to who you would even consider as a partner when it’s something that isn’t related to character or values..

I'm married to a 5'5" guy (my height). I realized while dating him that my "need" for a tall guy was just a need to feel protected and also a fear of other people judging me.
I have always felt safe and protected in my husband's presence and honestly, the most judgement from people is in the very beginning. Once we started having kids, nobody cares anymore. We also have the most beautiful kids so clearly nothing lacking there!
Overall I have a really incredible, devoted husband who is so much better than other husbands I hear about. Give shorter men a chance - you may be giving up a super incredible high value guy by focusing on something as superficial as height.

I remember watching a video from TED (spinoff channel maybe), and it was this older woman monologuing about how she used to have this long list of standards for men but as she grew older, she needed to start letting go of those standards one at a time. She crossed off being a good person or treating her well way before she crossed off height. I laughed so hard.

As a 5’8 guy, my height helps me to automatically filter between superficial shallow women vs women who have good hearts. I’ve seen a lot of my tall male friends have toxic girlfriends, meanwhile a bunch of my shorter male friends have had genuine good hearted girlfriends. Not saying this always happens, but I’ve seen it happened many times. When a woman is interested in me, I know it’s not just because my height, but who I am.

As someone whos 5"3 i cant tell you how many times ive been rejected to my face solely because of my height. And dating apps only made it worse. I had to delete all the apps as it was killing my self esteem. I just want someone genuine but man is it rough out here smh

I'm 5'5 and I've never thought about my height being a problem until recently. I've never had a problem dating beautiful women. But in the dating apps I'm invisible. Real world is where it's at lol

I took the male delusion test.
Picked ages 20-28 ( im going to be 28 in a month)
Excluded married women and mothers.
Picked ANY race because I don't care about 1 specific race.
Height I picked 4'11- 5'4 ( I'm 5'6 )
Excluded obese women but not overweight
Last I picked $0 income because I make enough to support and have a family without having to worry about money and give my gf/wife the option of staying home and work on her own goals rather than she go to a job she hates.
I got 15.12% ( 2.9 million) lol

Also I find it interesting how some women complain about machismo, patriarchy, and men not being emotional/vulnerable enough but have no problem saying no to shorter guys and only want tall men.

I used to be that girl who would only date guys 6’ or taller. I was almost too shallow to even go out with a guy who was just over 5’7”. I had to have a serious check with myself being only 5’4” and I’m glad I did because that 5’7” guy that I almost didn’t date is now my husband. I couldn’t have possibly chosen a better man. Truly the best leader and protector of our home and family.

The 5’11” thing is real. I’m 5’11”… when I was dating, the number of 5’4” or 5’6” women that had 6’ for what they wanted on dating apps who ignored me was mind boggling.

I ended up meeting (and eventually marrying) a 5’3” Filipina immigrant who was so used to 5’5” guys, she just didn’t care.

Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together, it was a really bad phase but we got through it.
