Not remotely bothered about the apparent silliness of "Moonraker" : whenever I'm doing ironing (one of my least favourite tasks), this playing in my DVD is fun, good way to pass a couple of hours.

This film has a lot of significance for me! In 1979, I, my wife & 8 year old daughter were on
our last day's vacation in Honolulu, Hawaii & had just gotten off movie Dir. John Ford's former
yacht, on a "Sunset Cruise", when we saw this film playing in Waikiki! We went & loved it! Twenty
years later, in 1999, I took a yoga class in Santa Monica, Ca. & noticed that Lois Chiles (Holly Goodhead)
was right behind me & she had hardly changed! Small world! (I swear every word of this is true!)

to appreciate Moonraker more. It
is unique & has a different quality from
the other Bond movies. I like the
Moonraker theme by
Shirley Bassey ... it sort of sums up the
dream-like quality of
the movie . Roger
Moore looked really
good in this movie
& the different locations were beautifully filmed. ❤
