Michael Caine once described Roger Moore as having "a backbone of iron".
I just see it that a strong, mature person keeps his cool, is calm, courteous, good-humoured and well-mannered.

Roger Moore is my favorite Bond. Timothy Dalton remains a close second, but Mr. Moore’s portrayal of 007 brought a level of class to the character that I’ve always admired.

Knocking a villain off a rooftop in The Spy Who Loved Me and kicking a villain's car off the cliff edge in For Your Eyes Only are also other examples where Roger Moore played James Bond as a professional killer, however I think Roger Moore comes out on top when giving the role a sense of humour.
