Imagine just wasting a henchman in front of a evil villain in casual encounter like this. Easily Bond’s biggest power play.

Such heavy irony and sarcasm and Moore did it better than anyone. Imagine anyone other than maybe Connery saying those words. And the look on his Proving that Moore had some real effortless acting about him

Looking at Drax’s face after Bond’s kill, the expression “No soup for you” somehow comes to mind.

This is my FAVOURITE Roger Moore moment and arguably his greatest in any Bond film. The way he takes in where he is in the field you can see that Bond knows he’s the target. This means that when he’s scanning the area it’s not the bird he’s looking at but the marksman.

It’s a really clever scene you can only appreciate with multiple viewings.

The most bad-ass scene in the history of cinema.

RIP Sir Roger Moore (October 14, 1927 – May 23, 2017), aged 89
And
RIP Michael Lonsdale (May 24, 1931 – September 21, 2020), aged 89
You both will be remembered as legends.

People have said Roger Moore was too “light” and “comedic” as James Bond.

It’s true his Bond movies had more humour but watching his movies, Roger Moore’s Bond was much more brutal when it came to killing off the villains.

A man so suave and debonair yet kills off his enemies cruelly.

Roger Moore made a great Bond. He just had to deal with the scripts which were given to him.

I love how Bond just casually gives the rifle back to Dtax who look at him in disbelief after seeing his henchman being dispatched so easily XD

One of the reason Moore is my second favorite Bond actor after Brosnan (who I grew up with)

Two comedy acts played for laughs and sandwiched in between them a horrible death by dogs. Cubby Broccoli was wicked.

Look after Mr Bond. See that some harm comes to him.

I remember this movie sampled the Close Encounters of the Third Kind theme for the keypad on Drax's lab door.

Is 0:47 an allusion to 2001: A Space Odyssey?
