We need to talk about 'Camera Control' - iPhone 16 Pro Max review

The iPhone 16 series isn't a huge upgrade over the last 2 or 3 Apple phone generations, but the Camera Control feature is a particularly strange addition and one that I want to address in Android Police's iPhone 16 Pro Max review.

Tbh what the “nobody asked” feature is a nice thing that separates from the rest
We have already seen a lot of phones are just the same basically. And what we left to compare is the specs and it’s very boring.
If anything, I’d like the force touch and the camera shutter button on android as well

I love iOS but like many have been disappointed with the hardware upgrades for the iPhone. The design has been stagnant for years, the colors are boring (at least for the Pros), and newer features like the Camera Control just feel gimmicky

I like the input. But you need to look at why they do this. Some super-bowl commercials were filmed in LOG on the iPhone Pros. They are amazing cameras and this is dedicated to people who use this for that. Not the average user. Thus why it was put on both models so users can spend normal iphone prices and get the 16(non pro)
