All of my professional go to lenses for the GH5 are the M.Zuiko Pro Series: 12-40/2.8, 40-150/2.8, 17/1.2, and the 45/1.2. Purchased all brand new, at ridiculously good discount, which is why I don’t have the 25/1.2 or the 7-14/2.8, because I have not found them at a price I am comfortable paying.

I chose the 45/1.2 because it was weather sealed and the Nocticron is not…

They work remarkably well with the Lumix GH5, and I am looking forward to use them with the GH5 Mark II once the GH6 comes out. (Hoping for a price drop). The lenses are tack sharp, and the AF is on point. If I miss a shot, it is due to user error not the gear. However, the main reason I got them was for video, and the manual clutch ring. The lenses just seemed more conducive for the task…

Man, I love the images you get. I usually don't plan to get any of the gear you talk about but the videos are so chill and beautiful to watch.

If you ever get the chance to try out the 12-100! Highly recommended! It’s amazing! The 12-40 is definitely one of my favorites!

The panasonic 10-25 f1.7 does have the clutch focus ring as well! Its definitely my favorite lens.

Love this lens! The clutch mechanism was the main reason why I chose this one over Panasonic. Used it on my gh4 and keep on using it on my bmpcc4k.

The Olympus pro lenses are great all around. When I used the gh5 as my daily driver, the Olympus pros were my go to. They didn’t have as much character as the voightlanders, but they had AF compatibility, sharpness wide open and the manual focus clutch.

Before I switched to Sony, this lens was my favourite. Built like a tank, super sharp, excellent ergonomics. A wonderful tool !

Hilarious!!! I commented not long ago about how I appreciate your gear and direct applications. Well, you’ve done it again Nigel. A year ago I picked up this lens for my GH3…AND LOVE IT. Oh…the GH3 is toast…but GH4 great too with it! Thanks again buddy

A favorite MFT lens for me. The Oly 12-40mm f2.8 pro just about lives on my camera.

5:10 they are actually very well designed outside. They're almost like the older Canon late '90s texture lenses

The only Lumix lenses with manual focus clutch are the 10-25 & 25-50 f/1.7 that I know of. But they’re crazy expensive

This is my go-to lens for GH5. I've also really enjoyed 40-150 f2.8 and 45 f1.2.

If I hadn't gotten the Pana-leica 12-60 when I got my G9 I would defenitely picked up this lens. I even put up the 12-60 for sale to try and switch over, but happy with it anyways since the dual IS is killer. I did get the Oly 25mm 1.2 and absolutely love it, the CAF when shooting videos seems to be more consistent than most of my other Panasonic lenses even and I love the look that you can get from their f/1.2's.

Great combo. You can also do some "snap" focus effects with clutch on the 12-40.
