Thank you Max, that was one of the easiest tutorials on this subject I could find. Altho I'm not managing to get it working yet. Is there any way you could help me find out what's wrong?
I've properly typed everything and even copied the files you provided to correct anything. At first, I thought the problem would be with that first line in the config.php file you show in your video, where there's a include_once('db.php'); command, but then after getting this corrected, it still does not return a success message nor changes the page in any way while completing all fields and with the spam check correctly answered.
I've imported your tables into my db and changed the whole line for mysqli_connect with my info.
Running on Wamp server with these settings: Apache/2.4.35 (Win64) PHP/7.2.10 / 5.7.23 - MySQL Community Server (GPL) / Database client version: libmysql - mysqlnd 5.0.12-dev - 20150407

when declaring the var dataString = 'em1=' + em+ how come the && and = is not considered string because it is inside the quote? can you please explain that line in detail and what does + sign do etc..?

Thanks bro! it worked just fine on my local MAMP environment, but not on the production site =(
