Tried to view this on my iPhone 6 plus then iPad then MacBook Pro. None worked out too well. I think it's a mix of the color scheme as someone else stated but also that the screencast seems to be recorded at full monitor resolution. Now a days most people lower their screen resolution to something close to 1920x1080 for optimal viewing on laptops and TVs.
