The short answer is absolutely not. The stop needs to be where the stop needs to be, which is the top of the move if you’re in a short or the bottom of the move if you’re going long. If anything if you’re new to trading and you wanna get more consistent, you need to not shorten the stop loss shorten your target. Instead of going for 10 go for five.
