Jared is the kind of human we need in this world

Those opening low light shots are simply amazing. I can't believe we have digital sensors that can shoot that clean at night.

My ten year old, then five year old, suffered badly through the winter in Utah. After moving to an area that doesn’t trap air like in the SLC valley, he’s improved drastically.

I was in Salt Lake City in 2022 during a severe period of inversion and I felt so powerless and hopeless. Great to see that this push for change is happening

This video says that every little bit helps! Doing a run and advocating for better air is a step to change.

I switched to nasal breathing rather than through the mouth. Its quite a difference. NO flu for 3 years now. As a 59 yo dude. Ya'll should get into ebikes on a big scale in the cities. I rode 29 miles today on my ebike to get groceries. No driving!

Thank you, all.
Keep turning negatives into positives.
Too many vulnerable people suffer badly due to the damn inversion.

I love this. As a life long resident of Salt Lake and having raise a son here in THIS AIR it definitely strikes deep. I spent a lot of time in our mountains and deserts hiking, BC skiing, biking and climbing and enjoy the occasional suffer fest. But have to say, as person not at all inclined to run anywhere (unless chased by something fearsome) I have only watched the RUFAs from a distance and worry much of our population is in the same boat (or fog). I wonder if there is a way to engage and inspire a broader swath of people to get involved? Maybe we need many "(blanking) up for air" events (biking, golfing, boating, walking, climbing, skiing, pickle-balling, etc). Your point of a "hard thing" that gleans buy-in an drives home the idea that a first step leads to success is awesome. Maybe it could work for us non-rapidly-moving-folks as well 😁? Anyway, inspiring work you have done. Gives me hope. Thanks

Da gum, 5.2 million vertical feet… that’s nearly 5.3 million vertical feet!

Where can I find information on how the funds are utilised to tackle this problem? The RUFA website doesn't have any reports or information, nor the Patagonia site. I feel like part of this narrative is missing?

Scientists have been stating the facts and warnings about pollution and air quality, but because everything gets politicized, half the population thought it was a “hoax.” That is, until it comes into YOUR neck of the woods.

Did this film even mention the number one polluter in Salt Lake City? Same old, letting industry pay for the museums while destroying the air and blaming individuals.
