Freediving Down 70 ft. to St. Anthony's Ship Wreck on Maui, Alex Tym(sounds like chishian) touches the sand at the St. Anthony's Wreck off the coast of Maui. What a free-diver! Thanks to facebook, his last name is Tymczyszyn!

Gotcha! Glad to hear it. Kind of unforntunately, I moved to Alaska for the last 6mos. But now I am in the Caribbean and will continue my Freediving.... And I will definitely film it:) thanks for your interest! Good luck and safe diving!

Well that was actually a friend of mine that did this dive, however, I took a Freediving class with Kurt Chambers on Maui (based on Oahu) and my deepest dive was 103ft. A very comfortable and safe 103. If you have not taken a class I HIGHLY recommend it! Freediving can be very dangerous if not trained appropriately. Regardless, congrats on your 70ft and keep diving when you return! Dive safe!

I just made it to 70ft for the first time yesterday. Your quick 'touch down' sand grab was exactly what I did. Same day return flight. No stop over me. Fortunately, I bought a round trip ticket :-). What depths are you diving these days?

Yes sorry. I should have explained better. I took Ted Harty's basic PFI course in Ft Lauderdale Florida. I had friend who is FII certified run safety for me on my 70ft dive. Thanks for the concern. 103ft is impressive. You should film more of your dives
