Great timing on this video. Who knows what Georgia weather will be like for the month of April. I'm just trying to get beyond the tornado season. 😂

Thank you Calikim and Camera Guy. Today in the morning I transplanted some of my tomatoes outside in my back yard, once the sun starts to go down I will go again to transplant the rest. I have a variety Cherry tomatoes and colors, some heirloom beef stakes and a variety of regular size heirloom tomatoes as well. Thanks to your tips, as to when to plant, what to plant, when to start I am doing so much better then last year. I live in Santa Clarita ( Six Flags) our heather is similar, hotter in my area though. I started because my 80 yr old mother to keep her occupied and help with depression. She is very happy and excited and tells every one, she plants and grows veggies in containers. I let her have all the credit ha ha ha. I work and now gardening I have so much work but I love it, my mom is enjoying it, she just walk out to her tiny patio and grabs her lettuce, sugar peas and soon warm weather veggies. Gardening is really helping me with my mom and through this pandemic year. Happy Gardening season!

Sorry I haven't been around lately, I fell in my garden and crashed into our metal fire pit, smashed my shin into a huge stone nearly breaking it (ER visit), wrist sprain catching my fall and trashed my back! I planted well over a hundred herbs and veggies using the tips I learned from you over the past year, thanks for all your great videos as always.

I was so happy to receive my order yesterday! I appreciate the detailed instructions on all of the seed packaging. Your book is wonderfully written! I’m most excited about the Tiny Tim tomato seeds; can’t wait to plant the amazing varieties in the seed collection!

My tomatoes got some cold damage this year. Maybe a little sunburn too. But now that it’s warming up, they are slowly but surely greening up and growing. They should be just fine in another week or so. Going to get into the upper 70s next week.

all the kelp and sea grass/weed came from newfoundland because early 1900s it was all about fishing and gardening so i’m going to the beach and doing the same she was doing in that video and collecting kelp. great video

So many great tips!! And how cool is using sea grass?!! Wowza! Question: do you think we could use a black trash bag like a shade cloth, but for protection against the cold at night, as long as it taken down during the day? I don’t have any milk jugs around and I’m trying to come up with another idea. Thanks for the video!

Hello from Appletree Urban Homestead (on YouTube) from Perth Australia. I just found your channel and subscribed. We have just started our own little urban homestead but unfortunately our poor vegie garden got decimated with the extremely hot weather we had earlier in the year here in Perth Australia. We are having to start all over again and I am documenting our journey to self sufficiency on my new YouTube channel.
