Why don't they mention Hurricane Hazel in 54, the great Galveston Hurricane in 1900, or the Hurricane that hit Huston in 1929? Oh, they were the worst weather disasters in history! So climate damage has greatly diminished lately!

Maybe we should go back to the horse and buggy days, days when you farmed your own land by hand to feed your self and your livestock, cut by hand the wood needed to build your buildings, and heat your homes . Do I need to go on . But, most people now days couldn't survive.

The total aerial extent of surface melting was just over 2.27 million square kilometers (876, 000 million square miles), well below the 1981 to 2010 average of 3.72 million square kilometers (1.44 million square miles).
