Green Fish Fry is a different style of recipe yet simple and easy one to make. A flavourful, spicy and delicious recipe. Healthy and a different one from the regular fish fries we have.
Ingredients:
• Fish : 700 Grams
• Green Chiles : 5 to 6
• Lime / Lemon Juice : Half
• Mint Leaves : ¼ Cup
• Coriander Leaves : ¼ Cup
• Ginger : 5 to 6 Pieces
• Garlic : 7 to 8 Pods
• Curry Leaves : ¼ Cup
• Salt : 1 ½ Teaspoon
• Water : 1 to 2 Teaspoons
• Corn Flour : 2 Tablespoons
• Oil : 2 to 3 Tablespoons
Method of Preparation:
• Firstly, will clean and wash the Fish.
• Squeeze half a lime juice let it rest for a while.
• Now, will prepare green masala to coat the fish for marinating.
• In a mixie jar will add ¼ cup of Mint Leaves, ¼ Cup of Coriander Leaves.
• Will also add 5 to 6 Pieces of Ginger and 7 to 8 Pods of Garlic.
• Now, will add ¼ Cup of Curry Leaves, 1 ½ Teaspoon of Salt or as needed.
• Grind them all into a fine paste with 1 or 2 teaspoons of water.
• Transfer the green masala paste to a mixing bowl add 2 tablespoons of Corn Flour and coat it to the fish.
• Let it marinate for some time, I have marinated it for 1 ½ Hour.
• Now, will shallow fry it in a pan with 2 to 3 tablespoons of Oil.
• Heat oil and add 2 to 3 fish pieces at a time and fry.
• Fry them on Low-Medium Flame for 2 to 3 Minutes.
• Then, turn it on the other side and fry for 2 to 3 Minutes.
• Fry the fish till crisp and brown.
• Take them on a paper napkin.
• Serve them Hot.
