Ever wondered what a decent casual golfer would shoot at the U.S. Open? With super long holes, punishing rough, and lightning-fast greens it won't be easy.

I would love to see a video with Francis playing. Great video as always, really puts the game in perspective for us amateurs.

You were only +1 on the four par threes. Definitely a positive to take away, and shows your iron game (when playing from the short stuff) was fairly decent. It’s the erratic driver that really killed you out there and shows just how imperative keeping it on the runway is - especially at a US Open setup. ✌️

On a 76.1/150 track, especially one set up the way that one is, even breaking 100 is pretty good for a handicap golfer. What an insane test. And a great video as always. You and the crew continue to deliver phenomenal content time and time again.

Also, I'm totally on board with a roles-reversed video where Erik caddies for Francis as he tackles one of these venues. Especially if Francis talks through certain shots and we get to hear both what decisions he makes and how he makes them. He's a truly brilliant golf mind.

Erik I really wanna say how much I love this channel. As a father of four who put golf on hold as I raised my kids I fell back in love quickly thanks in part to your channel. I appreciate your relaxed style. I spent over a decade barely playing but a few times a year. I love golf so much that it actually made me not want to play since it didnt fit into my life. I now have three teenage boys and a four year old. My oldest is 15 and I just gave him my old set that I bought in 2006. He is a natural. Loves the game and strikes the irons true. I am over the moon to be able to play with him and as long as we have a cart my 4 year old daughter is game to join us. Im working hard to get my handicap down now that I have a chance to play and practice more. However it isnt about the handicap. It’s about the time together on the course. The smell and feel of the cool green grass and the possibility of hitting a perfect shot. I am binging hard on your channel. I bought some of your gear. Im now a random golfer and proud of it. Thanks again.

Just goes to show that the big boys on tour play a totally different game than us Average Joe's. Always great to see your great vibes out there, EAL!

So many levels to this game... Thanks for showing us how difficult it is to navigate a course like that in those conditions. Props for the attitude

The main reason why this series is my number 1, favorite golf series on Youtube is not only because of Erik and playing all of these golf courses but that Erik it feels like is always out there just trying to grind, have new experiences and to improve and have fun. When I go golf, it's always because I want to improve and get better.

I'd be so horrible playing this course and would never have the courage to post a video of it to the world. EAL keep up the good content!

Hey EAL, would love to see you rank the courses you've featured by difficulty. I'm curious to see what the hardest course you've played so far has been.

Wow, that course is relentless! Going to be great watching the pros after this having some perspective.

Chippy Chip and the 20 Bunkers - that line alone was worth watching all 99 shots 🤣

I always love the Breaking Series/EAL Course Vlogs, but I miss when Erik had a passion for golf.
You can tell he’s just going through the motions lately.
