I’ve disliked 99% of the clothing I’ve bought on Amazon: cheap fast fashion that just ends up in landfills ☹️

I feel the SAME WAY about prints, I never heard anyone else say it like you did. Love the print when I got it and got over it real quick

While I do love some influencers, I've had to unfollow the ones who promote Walmart & Amazon cheap stuff all the time. This video of yours is so spot on! I've agreed with all your choices and follow the same suggestions and actually saved money along the way. Quality over quantity! Quality is not always expensive either. You can really find some great deals out there.

Wow! You hit every nail on the head with this one! I agree with all of these, and I think you touched on two things that I’m really going to concentrate on from now on. 1)I won’t EVER wear shoes that hurt AGAIN (and I don’t care what ANY influencer from any place thinks of my Uggs or my tennis shoes. My feet have been through a lot, and I don’t CARE what they think!) 2) If it’s a garment I have to “fuss with” or keep adjusting. This also includes fabrics that are uncomfortable on my skin (wool and anything with a metallic thread on it drive me CRAZY!) I look back at pictures when I was supposed to be dressed up, and I was miserable AND IT SHOWS. Not wasting the money, and NOT playing the game. Just not. While I’m here on this “Thanksgiving” weekend, I’d like to thank you for your channel, Anna. It’s TOPS and I learn so much, so if you read this, know you have a big fan in me! Thank you, again! ♥️🌻

Dear Anna I must let you know that I have watched the video where you suggested that we should buy only the stuff we are in love with and your suggestion stuck with me ever since AND made my life soooo much You see I needed to hear it in some other form to clarify things in my head!!! Thank you so much for this!!!

I can relate. I am in the process of getting rid of clothes I don’t like and buying the ones I love.

Hi Anna! I agree with almost everything you mentioned :) except for the lotions - I have been using Cethaphil, Cerave, and Vanicream on rotation for years, and I personally think they are great, and I have a really dry skin myself. Good skincare does not have to be expensive.
Im sorry to hear that you have such a skin problem, but im glad you found a solution for it :)
Regards, K.

Yes! Please do a video about your shoe collection. I have plenty of 3" heels & boots. But find myself bypassing them, knowing how my feet will feel by the end of the day. I adore how they add femininity to my outfits and will still occasionally wear them. But any tips on how you style kitten heals, flats, and sneakers would be so appreciated!
Your jacket, byw, is everything ❤ The gold metal just elevates it to a whole new level. Love it! Thank you for another great video 💕

Thank you for talking about the greater sustainability of leather than that of the petroleum-made, disposable pleather products.

Spot on!! Everything single topic I agree with. Done with prints forever- an occasional stripe cashmere t-neck but really, tan, white, winter white, black and grey. I feel sophisticated and classy- but at 70 it was a long process😂😂❤🎉

Love this video! I can’t tell you how much I have wasted purchasing items that I thought looked great on someone, but they weren’t really my style so they were never worn. Now I really tried to pay attention to what I love and feels right on me before I buy.

Totally with you on ripped jeans. I just never felt like myself in ripped jeans. I'm a dark wash, wide leg jean girl.

Hi Anna. Thanks for all the great advice in your videos. I'm not an Amazon shopper but people I know who are say it's hit and miss on quality and fit so I don't even bother. I'm big on brick and mortar shopping. I like to see, touch, try on and decide right there. For items sold only online I make sure there's a store near me I can return them to if need be. My closet is not cluttered at all because I'm pretty strict with myself when buying just about anything. I wasn't always like this but learned my lesson after having to wear or donate stuff I regretted buying.
Oh yes, PLEASE do a video on shoes! I'd love some advice on brands that are stylish, comfy and good quality.
Thank you.

I am in my 70's, and I live in a very dry climate, and my dermatologist told me not to ever buy lotion! I now use the CeraVe cream that comes in a container with a pump, and I absolutely love it!! If you don't want to use CeraVe, which has a lot of great ingredients, then find another but use a cream.🥰

I used to have things like "the white button down shirt that every woman must have in her wardrobe", and I think I wore it once and I hated it the entire time. I refuse to buy things just because they're on someone's list of things society expects me to have as an almost 50yo woman. Also, obviously, uncomfortable shoes, and I think I'm kinda over tight jeans, too! Anna, your thoughts on the prints are resonating with me, as well. They just seem to be so specific in wearing opportunities that I think I might lay off them for a bit...

Being into fashion and a nursing mom, prints and florals have been such a game changer - surviving spit ups are so important now!

Totally agree on all of these and excellent reminders. No pastels, no prints, no uncomfortable shoes, no faux leather, no cheap sweaters, especially. I live in a very cold climate and I have decided on a couple of cashmere scarves for this winter - black and gray plaid and a vintage blue and brown plaid Burberry one. Love them both.

Agree to ALL of this! Over the past 2 years I have put more mindfulness into my wardrobe and really gotten to know my style likes and dislikes and why I like and dislike them. Shopping is so much easier when you know your limits, and you actually wear what you love. This is why it's so important to love ourselves as we are! Be your own best friend first and give yourself the love and attention you deserve!❤

I do think prints can be good for accessories (like scarves, which I do like). That way you can try a small amount of a different print or color at a relatively lower cost.

I hear you on the prints. I have a couple, but no more .😊
