Grapes and raisins are extremely toxic to dogs.

Xylitol is an artificial sweetener found in many sugar-free products. It is extremely poisonous to dogs, and can be found in many products such as candies, chewing gums, baked goods, protein bars, and some peanut butters.

Chocolate has a substance in it called theobromine which is toxic to dogs.

Ice cream could cause GI upset due to some dogs being lactose intolerant and could contain toxic ingredients such as Xylitol.

Salt is needed to sustain life but most human food contains too much salt that can lead to a condition known as salt poisoning. Studies suggest that a medium sized dog only needs 200 milligrams of sodium per day.

Caffeine over-stimulates a dog’s nervous system causing their heart rate to increase to a dangerous level, and their blood pressure skyrocket.

Onion and Garlic contain a harmful substance that can damage your dog’s red blood cells, making them unable to carry oxygen through the body.

Macadamia Nuts are very toxic to dogs and are often found in baked goods, cakes, cookies, muffins.

Cooked bones can splinter and block or cause cuts in your dog's digestive system.

Avocados contain a toxic substance called persin, which is perfectly safe for human, but can cause serious health problems, even death in dogs.

Alcohol exists in many products we wouldn’t realize, such as mouth wash, perfume, cleaning products, and hand sanitizers. Even the smallest amount of alcohol are poisonous to dogs.

Bacon and most processed meats contain an incredibly high salt content which can lead to salt toxicity.

Hotdogs contain ingredients that are not good for dogs, such as sugars, xylitol, or sodium nitrate which has been linked to cancer. Hotdogs also contain seasonings, such as onion powder and garlic, which are toxic to dogs.

Apples can be eaten but avoid the seeds at all costs. The seeds contain a small amount of cyanide, a toxin, which can harm your dog in large doses.

Raw Yeast Dough can create a medical emergency in your dog. If a dog eats bread dough, the yeast in that dough can expand in your dog’s belly and cause a lot of pain and bloating. This can cause a dog’s stomach to twist.

Man I respect this man for helping me out and replying to my emails regarding my cane corso. I like that he doesn’t act like he’s untouchable and down to earth.

Glad you did that. There was some things I didn’t even know or was aware about. Like nuts and peanut butter and the seeds in apples . Thanks for doing that.

Jason thank you for posting this video. I am a Veterinay Assistant and unfortunately a lot of our clients don't understand which foods are toxic to dogs.

One big mistake I see with a lot of individuals is failing to train their dog to not eat things they find on the floor. The lack of training in this department could end up leading to your dogs death. It will take some time and patience on your end to train this into your dog but it could one day save their life. Think of this potential situation. You are preparing a salad with raisins. While preparing the salad you did not realize you dropped a pile of raisins on the ground. Before you see them your dog eats them and you are completely unaware this just happened. You eat your delicious salad and then head on out of the house for a while. Now your dog who was poisoned inadvertently is home alone where they begin to start showing of toxicity. By the time you get home it is too late and you have found your dog deceased from a food that is toxic to them. This is not a uncommon thing to happen so please do your due diligence as your dogs leader and caretaker by training them properly. If you need help training your dog I have the best online training courses linked below that will get you and your dog to the amazing levels of obedience we all want. Some really good to know info on that list would probably be a great seller in your merch store? A nice laminated or sheet magnet list to hang on the fridge would be really cool.

Would be great for people with chillens that can read and adults so they don't poison the family pooch.

I offended a Dunkin worker when she offered my Corso a Puppachino. She was excited to give him one and I said no thank you. A doughnut with whip cream or what ever else its made with, would make a mess of his digestive system...Literally

As you know your dog behaviors are fantastic! I have a Cane Corso I was able to rescue and she was 10 months old. She had absolutely NO TRAINING. She was successfully housetrained in 12 DAYS!!! We've come very far yet I am still lacking on big things like socialization. I take her out often but I am nervous because she's hair trigger reactive to people or animals. She's nearly 2 years old, will this course help ALOT

I honestly thought garlic was okay to feed them just in small amounts. Iv been doing it for a year now and both my dogs are fine. However, I will be stopping now ! Thank you.

Hey Jason, Great video. Raw food carefully given to dogs is great. Mentioning though that raw food can be extremely deadly if it has salmonella. Dogs bodies don’t handle that like humans. If they eat meat that has it they will die

Great video. I’m pretty proud of myself that I knew about these.
I remember reading up on avocado a while back and didn’t find conclusive data or research, however I decided that it was an unnecessary risk t give my dog avocado. I’d rather give him salmon or coconut fat if I wanted to give him some fats.
I do make cooked homemade food for my dog and try my best to make sure he gets a balanced diet.
I do of course give him raw sometimes, just a little though because he isn’t used to digesting raw.

Hey Jason. I do agree on everything you said, but the Garlic. Garlic is beneficial if given one clove if you feed raw is benefitial. Its an actual prebiotic. If you disagree, please let me know why? I really agree on 99%, however I belive it's worth speaking of that. Thank you.

I am impressed with ur boys bread. But I had a question about adding this bread to me and my pet. I have a 160 lb Newfoundland. He turned 4 yrs on Dec 23rd. I know they have a different activity drive than ur bread. Wuld u recommend adding a Corsa to my boy and family, his name is Jasper. He has been socialize and intro duced to my grand kids and family members even thier pets and other peoples pets. I don't want to add a bread thats not a best fit in my family and friends and other peoples pets. Thanks for any advice u may have.
