Found a 7 pounder as the lake was turning over!

Stuck a 7 pounder pitching a Jig in heavy wood, the lake had its first cold front. The vegetation died off and gave off a pungent odor, also shutting the bite down.

Same thing happened to a 4.5 a buddy and I found at the lake this summer it was odd. Unfortunately it wouldn’t swim but continued to stay alive.
