My grandmother lived on a farm. Tons of eggs, sausage, bacon, cream, butter every bfast. Fried EVERYTHING in Lard. She lived until 92. One surgery. 6 home births. My grandfather lived til 99. They didn't run to doctors. Walked without canes. Proof is in the pudding.

Growing up we only had lard. We rendered our own lard (and made our own fried pig skins in the process). My granny made the best fried chicken (along with about a thousand other things) you ever tasted.
Those were different times, drinking fresh milk (I milked the cow twice a day), making our own butter, growing all our own veggies. We had cows, chickens, pigs, ducks and rabbits. The freezer was always full.

Bob I saw this video last year on 3/31/23 and started eating high fat low carb. I lost 50 lbs in 6 months, and have kept it off for the last 6 months. Tomorrow 4/1/24 is my Butter Bob 1 year anniversary. Thank you sir.

Bob, if you are still watching the comments, your people out here want more great videos. You are so down to earth and common sense and proven results that folks are being helped by your advise. At least give us an update on how you are doing. People feel like they kinda know you.

All my relatives were Okies that ate food fried in lard every day. Most of them lived well into their 80's and 90's. There's just something about simple food, prepared simply, by simple people.

I am shaking in my boots. We grew up on lard and I haven't used it in 50 years. It feels kinda naughty buying it. I'm going to do it though. I love this channel

My grandma fried everything in lard for all her life. Her cholesterol level was something like 350. I guess it finally killed her...at the grand old age of 96.

Speechless! I cannot believe it! After seven years vegan, two of them raw vegan I find myself here knowing every word is true. I am appreciative my friend. It was the sugar, rice, carbs and low fat that ruined my veins, caused diabetes and tooth decay! Humbled and exhausted. Going somewhere to take a seat, I know nothing! 🐾🐾🐾

This is how my grandmother and her generation cooked. Ive adopted this into my cooking. Not only is it better tasting it brings back memories of my sweet grandmother cooking away in the kitchen. I love and miss my grandparents everyday.

I've recently started a low carb, actually keto diet. The strange thing about it is that in 1964 when I came to the US at 5 years of age, this is how we ate with the exception of toritllas some rice and beans. My great grand father lived 106, great grand mother 99, grand mother 94, mom and dad both 92. We then adopted a more oil and starch diet. Diabetes came along. There's a book called, "good calories bad calories by Gary Tauber. It's a study of the change in the American diet. This food is delicious. Thank you, it brings me back to my old way of eating.

My grandparents were born in the early 1900's and they used lard for frying, ate red meat daily, ate bread 3 times a day with each meal, drank whole milk, etc. I believe that is the way we should eat. The things they didn't do was open a can, use the microwave, eat frozen meals, and certainly did not drink soda and eat heavy sweets. Love the video, I'm gonna try the recipe - looks so amazing.

I just fried some wings for my son, I've done it all before with sunflower oil, vegetable oil, this batter, that batter and this was the first time I fried them naked, I seasoned them a little and a bit of baking powder to crisp up the skin and let me tell you something....my sixteen year old who loves chicken wings said these are the best wings he's ever had and I agree! Took them out and brushed some with sweet chili sauce and some as they best wings ever!!! I am on a health journey so to know I can have these wings with zero guilt is everything to me.
Best wings ever. THANK YOU.

I'm so glad these videos are still available! I'm 63 and disabled, on oxygen now from smelter environment as a kid... BUT, I've lost 55lbs doing ketogenic eating with intermittent fasting 20/4. I've had a bit of a stall, so I'm excited to fast 24 hours every other day as Butter Bob recommends. So grateful for this knowledge. I'm going to conserve my expensive coconut oil and start frying in lard. YAY! Can't wait for the yumminess!!

I miss, him too! I often wonder how he's doing. I hope he's staying well and is happy. Butter Bob videos were a life changing event for me two years ago. I am healthier than I've ever been thanks to him. I am making Butter Bob's Chicken right now in my kitchen! Thank you, Butter Bob, for great chicken, and the best morning coffee in the world. God bless and keep you.
