I loved the show. I respect everyone's journey. But I want to clarify that there is a difference between The Water Only Method and The Water Only Washing Method. There is nothing wrong with customizing things for you. I am black and natural (no locs) and practice the Water Only Method. Since I went natural, I have only used water. It's been 3 years. No shampoo, no clarifying stuff, no conditioner, no avocado, no heat, no oil, no for 3 years. My hair is easy to manage. I style my hair once every 2 - 4 weeks. I don't wet my hair everyday, maybe once a week during the winter. 2x a week when it's warmer. My hair, when stretched, is passed my bra strap. The less you manipulate, the less breakage you have. The 2 strand twist is my style of choice for my 4b hair. I do my edges and the front every 2 weeks. The rest of my hair gets redone once a month. I sleep with a head scarf. I just wake up take the scarf off and go. Minimalistic and loving it!

So glad I happened on this. I am also a minimalist who has gone natural almost a year ago. My issue is I have found what works for me but it leaves white resadue. So I'm going to try coconut oil or Dr brauners because cantu makes my hair look grey.
