For fine hair, DON’T get layers cut into to ONE layer with BLUNT ends is the best way to make your hair look MUCH thicker!! I LOVE layers - but my hairdresser told me to go for ONE length....and she was right!!

I too have very fine hair and am trying to grow it out after wearing is super short for 20 years, so thank you for the recommendations. Do you think the type of blowdryer makes a difference? I have used an Elchim dryer for about 10 years and it finally kicked the bucket so I am in need of a new blowdryer.
I was also wondering if you had tried "Monat" hair care products, I would love to hear your reviews on them.
