Today we're working through the procedure I have written up to start the Carenado Cessna 182RG II from cold and dark in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Obviously it isn't a "study level" aircraft, but that doesn't stop us from following at least some of the real-world procedures in operating the aircraft somewhat-correctly. This is very much a "functional how-to" - not a real-world procedures and checklist guide :)

If you would like a copy of the procedure I followed, follow the link below:

I’ve been flying this for about 2 months now, i love it so so much. I read the entire SOP to learn it for myself. I honestly might be able to start one irl. It makes me beyond happy to see you make this! Keep it up man!

I’ve got loads of time in this aircraft real world. One of the best Cessnas ever made. Fast, roomy, will carry a lot of weight, will carry a load of ice if you get stuck in it, and has the ultra strong wing design as all Cessnas and will easily support as much as 5 G’s just in case.
Real world is quite a bit different than sim, especially in engine control and prop control settings on take off and climb out then cruise etc.. Other than that looks good! 👍👍👍
